Ekey's 91 years of Incredible GrowthWhether it's stunning arrangements, homegrown annuals and perennials, beautiful trees or flowering bushes, Ekey's is the very best. Since 1916 Ekey's has not only been the place to go for fabulous flowers, but a full-service nursery with ranges of greenhouses, garden gift shop and florist. What's kept Ekey's in the forefront for 90 years is innovation mixed with tradition. Ekey's grows the latest hybrid as well as old-fashioned flowers such as sweet pea and freesia. This historic, three generation center combines outstanding growing with friendly service. "Our highl6y trained staff has helped us succeed in this highly completive industry," says third-generation owner, Robert (Bob) Ekey. "Since 1916, we have been known throughout New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania for our unique products and friendly service. Our hallmarks are creative change and dynamic vision." Throughout nine decades, little of the garden paraphernalia used for growing and designing has been discarded. Now these items intrigue visitors at Ekey's Garden Museum. Customer and friends have followed Ekey's in its 4 moves - from Pleasant Township to Main Street to 110 E. St. Clair to its present location, 1640 Market St. Ext.
